Fort Pequeno – n.º 29
An elongated redoubt or battery with 6 gun emplacements facing eastwards, protecting the Torres Vedras – Lisbon road. It is an earthwork with trenches, a magazine protected by a traverse and a second internal traverse. It was equipped with 3 x 12 calibre cannon and housed a garrison of 270 men.
