Located to the right of the valley of Matos, the Cego Fort was also designated by São Sebastião Forte, but it took the toponymal of the neighbour Casal do Cego. It had an elaborate drainage system composed of a drainage conduit of rainwater to avoid accumulation of water in its interior.
