SOBRAL WINDMILL

If you would like to understand how some traditional windmills were considered authentic revolutionary technologies for their time, be sure to visit the Sobral Windmill. Overlooking the village, this Mediterranean-style windmill, has a privileged view of the mountains of Socorro, Montejunto and Alqueidão.

It features the complete original grinding mechanism in good condition and, by appointment, you can take your children to see it in action.
