ARRUDA DOS VINHOS WINE COOPERATIVE

There have always been extensive vineyards around Arruda dos Vinhos. Since Don Alfonso Henriques presented the town charter to the Ordem de Santiago in 1172, these vineyards have supplied a large proportion of the country with wine. For this reason, wine has always been part of the history of the area, as well as the Adega de Arruda, which was created in the middle of the 20th century.
