CHURCH OF ST. ANDREW, MAFRA

This church was built during the reign of King Dinis, at the end of the 13th century. Financed by a local family, it embodies Mafra’s medieval origins.

It is one of the most prestigious examples of parochial Gothic architecture and is classed as a National Monument.
