The Bucelas Museum of Wine and Vine presents a discourse about local history while promoting the area based around the typical wine of this region, which was demarcated by decree on the 3rd March, 1911.
In a building whose history is closely linked to traditional local winemaking, the Museum has two distinct exhibition areas. One is a permanent display, where the visitor gets to understand the main stages of vine culture – and traditional methods of wine production – and a mezzanine reserved for temporary exhibitions, thematically connected to all aspects of wine.
