This is the oldest restaurant in the town of Arruda. On entering, you are immediately surprised by the large open fire and then by the large wine press spindle in the middle of the dining room. There are other relics of the old wine cellar that existed long ago. And the surprises continue if you choose the salt cod or steak dishes. You’ll be amazed not only by the size of the portions but also by their quality.
There are other equally good options, but this restaurant has become famous for these two protagonists, the excellence of its wine list and its unique desserts, such as the “Doce da Casa”.
